Restart III

Twenty days later. And so much changed inside me. Happiness came back to my heart, it's like a rush through my body that fills me with joy. I don't even remember when I last had that feeling. I spent a few wonderful weeks, enjoying life as much as I could. In the south you would say: "Pura Vida". That's what it is! Sitting together on the terrace in the evening sun, with a mouthwatering dinner on the table and a glass of finest wine. Talking and talking until the sky turns dark. Pure life!

Besides, I was invited to join a lounge opening in Fehraltorf. I've never been in Fehraltorf before in my life, but the lounge was pretty cool and the food was just delicious. I need to add that it was for free! We even met the swiss actor Walter Andreas Müller, which now sounds like Mark van Huisseling's B-promi list. Anyway, that evening was pretty cool and as it was already late, I stayed in Zurich that night (it was a monday). Then I went to "DJ Sam meets Oberhof" at Oberhof with a former training partner, which is now a Dr. med. The party was great and even though it was a thursday I stayed quite long and enjoyed the good vibes. Then I invited Livia and Urs for a selfmade thai dinner at my place. That was also a great evening, we had so much fun together! And we now plan to spend a weekend in the mountains in Glarus, where Urs has a small cottage somewhere up in the heights. I'm really looking forward to that, I miss the mountains quite a bit... Then we had also a great evening in Zurich at Urs' place! He can really create marvellous menues!

I did a lot of sports and feel in shape. Hope the weather stays good for the next weeks, so we can go swimming in the Lake Zurich after work!

And I'm not sure if I should join Kai and his friend for a trip to New York in September. The flight is bloody cheap, but I do not have so much time... Maybe if I just go for a week than it would be possible to go also on the roadtrip to Copenhagen. Anyway, time will show! :-)

Restart II

I guess it's time for a new post. I'm still thinking a lot. This time I deal with my future, in contrast to the previous weeks, where I was mainly trying to deal with the past. As I had plenty of time the last days, I went to have some drinks at the edge of Lake Zurich, watching the sunset with a friend, planning our roadtrip to Copenhagen in Summer. That's what we're going to do. I can spend hours on flickr, looking for stunning photos from all over the world. If I don't stop, I guess I'll soon book a flight. I have time, I've got money, so what? Another friend plans to go to Shanghai next year, so I might join him with some friends after my graduation. That brings me to another point: What to do after I have finished my studies in 2010? I mean I could immediately try to find a good job. I could try to find a job abroad, possibly within Nestlé or Unilever. So I could spend some years outside Switzerland to gain more experience, because I know, that I will not do that for more than a few years. Or I just plan some trips far away, come back and try to find a job in Switzerland.

Anyway, nobody knows what happens tomorrow, so everything can change from day to day.

I even forgot to tell you that I currently work for SQTS which is located in Dietikon/ZH. I help to investigate the migration of printing ink from the food packaging to the product. It's very interesting and we have lots of fun in our team!
